Jerry Swift had the privilege to follow the Peregrine Fund team in Arizona. He was able to see the efforts of biologists to save the California condor (Gymnogyps californianus) from extinction.
He then traveled to California’s main National Parks where he observed local wildlife. His ultimate goal was to meet the black bear. His wish was fulfilled as he had the chance to observe 7 of them in the wild.
